American professional ice hockey player, Jack Eichel represents Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League. Selected as the second overall by the Sabres in 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Jack is also an alternate captain of the team. He was named, “the new face of American hockey” at the age of 17 and is considered one of the rising talents in the sport.

Jack is currently in three-year entry-level contract following the 2015 draft with the Sabres. Even though his first contract binds him until this season, he has already signed an eight-year deal. The contract signed on October 3, 2017, will start from the 2018-19 season. Jack will receive the total of $80 million throughout his career making his annual income $10 million.
Jack also has a sponsorship deal with Bauer Hockey. The hockey player is set to have a huge net worth in coming years.

Jack Eichel Bio:

Born on October 28, 1996, in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Jack Robert Eichel started his professional journey with USA Hockey National Team Development Program where his talent was first recognized. He was soon named to the second All-Star team in the United States Hockey League.

Jack won Hobey Baker Award on April 10, 2015, making him the second freshman to win the award after Paul Kariya in 1993. He was the top scorer while at Boston University with 26 goals, 45 assists and 71 points. He was named Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year, MVP and a member of All-Rookie Team in the Hockey East.

He signed the contract with Sabres on July 2015 and on October 3, scored the first goal in his debut match in NHL, becoming the youngest Sabres player to do so. He ended the rookie season with 24 goals and 56 points. Before the 2016-2017 season, he injured his ankle and was out for two months of the league. He finished the season with 24 goals and 33 assists.
Jack was part of the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics team at 15. Since then he has represented his country in various international tournaments winning gold, silver, and bronze.
